As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing REST APIs, serverless, and event-driven applications (FaaS). Your key responsibilities will include owning the API technical implementation, collaborating with scrum teams to deliver high-quality features, and contributing to cross-functional API development and multi-platform application systems. You will also design and implement solutions with microservices architecture and collaborate with other teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop REST APIs, serverless, and event-driven applications (FaaS). - Own the API technical implementation and collaborate with scrum teams to deliver high-quality features. - Contribute to cross-functional API development and multi-platform application systems. - Design and implement solutions with microservices architecture. - Collaborate with other teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery of projects. - Build scalable, robust, and highly available backend systems using Java, Quarkus, GraphQL, JavaScript, Python, and Kotlin. - Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS EC2 and Azure AKS. - Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Ansible to streamline development and deployment processes. - Work with KNative, Hasura, JWT, and Helm to enhance the system architecture. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in backend software development. - Strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining REST APIs, GraphQL, and serverless applications. - Proficiency in Java, Quarkus, Python, JavaScript, and Kotlin. - Expertise in microservices architecture, including design, development, and deployment of microservices-based solutions. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, Azure AKS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible for continuous integration and deployment. - Knowledge of KNative, Hasura, JWT, and Helm to support modern cloud-native application development. - Strong understanding of API security practices and best practices in scalable backend architecture.
