What is the Role? We're looking for a Business & Operations Analyst to contribute to client-facing projects by collecting and analyzing business requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams, and helping drive successful product delivery. The ideal candidate is adaptable, a strong team player, and motivated to learn—particularly in dynamic fields like AI. You should bring solid analytical skills, a relevant academic background, and a foundational knowledge of business analysis tools and project delivery frameworks. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll need to: Recruitment and People Ops - Manage end-to-end hiring — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding. Work with founders to define role requirements , write JDs, and drive hiring strategy. Build and maintain candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, Naukri, AngelList, and others . Own employee engagement , onboarding, and contractor/vendor coordination. Business Role - Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders. Support the delivery of client-facing projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into functional specifications. Provide ongoing support for product implementations, including troubleshooting, testing, and user training. Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand project goals and help deliver solutions. Analyze data, generate insights, and prepare reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Create and maintain documentation such as user guides, process flows, and training materials. Monitor project milestones and communicate updates with internal and external stakeholders. Attributes We are looking for a Business and operations Analyst with the following: Dealing with Ambiguity – You’re comfortable working in evolving spaces like AI, where the roadmap may shift based on new research, data, or user insights. Collaborates – You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Developers, and QA, bringing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively in client-facing environments. Nimble Learning – You thrive in a startup environment. You’re quick to pick up new AI concepts, tools, platforms, and technologies, and are hands-on when it comes to testing out prototypes or validating hypotheses. Functional/Technical Skills – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Basic understanding of business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., process mapping, requirements gathering). Familiarity with project delivery lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models). Domain Expertise – Strong background in asset management, investment management, wealth management, sustainability finance, or similar businesses within the financial services domain.
