Back End Developer

As a Back End Developer at PwC, you will play a key role in developing and implementing low-latency, highly performant server-side components by writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with team members to contribute to improvements in process and infrastructure, leverage available tools/systems to proactively identify and resolve defects, implement effective security protocols and data protection measures, and work with frontend developers on the integration of application elements. Responsibilities: - Developing and implementing low-latency, highly performant server-side components by writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. - Collaborating with team members to contribute to improvements in process and infrastructure. - Leveraging available tools/systems to proactively identify and resolve defects. - Implementing effective security protocols and data protection measures. - Working with frontend developers on the integration of application elements. Skills Required: - At least 3 years of experience working as a Back-end Developer on enterprise applications. - Expert level Nest.js & Typescript experience with components, classes, and associated technologies. - Good knowledge of popular node libraries/components in the open-source community. - Ability to brainstorm and collaborate with architects, front-end developers, and product team members to come up with practical application solutions. - Following and implementing the latest coding trends, tricks/hacks, and best practices along with conveying the message to other team members. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people. - Experience working with microservice architecture. - Familiarity with integrating external APIs and SDKs. - Strong skills in writing testable and maintainable code. - Strong foundation with unit testing. - Good understanding of asynchronous programming. - Proficient understanding of Git. - Experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Preferred Skills: - Node.js, Typescript, Javascript, Express.js, NestJs. - Couchbase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis. - Jest, Yarn, NPM.,
