Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
• Lecturing: Deliver lectures on subjects related to physiotherapy, including anatomy, biomechanics, rehabilitation, orthopedic physiotherapy, neurology, etc.
• Practical Training: Supervise and guide students in practical, hands-on sessions, ensuring they are developing the necessary clinical skills.
• Curriculum Development: Assist in the creation and design of the BPT curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest trends in physiotherapy practice and research.
• Student Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments, including practical exams, written tests, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback on student performance.
• Research:
• Conduct Research: Engage in research activities related to physiotherapy treatments, rehabilitation techniques, and innovations in the field. Publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Collaborate on Research Projects: Work with other faculty members or external institutions on collaborative research projects.
• Research Supervision: Mentor students in their research projects, guiding them through the research process and ensuring the quality and relevance of their work.
• Clinical Supervision:
• Internship Supervision: Oversee and mentor students during their clinical internships, ensuring they get real-world experience under supervision.
• Clinical Skill Development: Teach students various treatment techniques in a clinical environment, such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and more.
• Patient Interaction: Occasionally, assist students in real patient care settings, helping them learn how to interact with patients, assess conditions, and apply appropriate treatments.
• Administrative Duties:
• Department Meetings: Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and development of policies and procedures.
• Student Counseling: Provide academic and career counseling to students pursuing a BPT degree.
• Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and workshops for the BPT students.
• Community Outreach:
• Public Awareness: Participate in workshops, seminars, and public health awareness programs to promote the benefits of physiotherapy.
• Collaboration: Work with hospitals, clinics, and physiotherapy associations to improve clinical practices and expand learning opportunities for students.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution.
• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in a specialized field (e.g., Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, etc.).
• Additional qualifications such as a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or related areas will be an added advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in the field of physiotherapy at a recognized educational institution.
• Clinical experience (working as a physiotherapist in a hospital or clinic) is desirable.
• Experience in research and publication is highly valued.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of physiotherapy principles, treatments, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to design and implement a curriculum.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Research-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to the academic community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
