Job Description

Primary Skills:

12-15 years of functional experience in an insurance firm and / or a consulting firm within

financial services - insurance (preferably business analyst experience)

Strong functional and domain knowledge of various insurance functions, processes & product

knowledge

Good understanding of end-to-end customer lifecycle in insurance
Knowledge in any of the following insurance areas: Policy underwriting, Actuarial Analysis,

Claims management, General Operations, Finance Operations, Regulatory reporting etc

Experience in requirement gathering with hands-on experience writing BRDs / FRDs
Understanding of insurance industry and the impact of emerging trends (Platforms, D&A,

FinTech, Digitization etc.)

Relevant experience in data analysis, validation, and presentation of results to senior leadership
Exposure to thought leadership/ business development/ RFP/practice development work.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong knowledge of compliance, governance and risk management in Domestic/ IRDAI

regulatory knowledge

Secondary Skills:

Exposure to SDLC / Agile + project management activities
Understanding of Technology stack that supports banking operations.
Understanding of Technology stack that supports banking operations.
Understanding data model and its architecture.

Education Qualifications: B.E., MBA (Preferred)

Certifications: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), any other relevant

IRDAI certifications
