As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Capital Markets and Trading, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for digital initiatives in Capital Markets and Trading. - Leading the design and enhancement of Investment Account Opening processes and Trading Journeys across asset classes such as Equities, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Options, Futures, and Metals. - Driving end-to-end process improvements aligned with customer experience and business objectives. - Creating user stories, process flows, wireframes, and requirement documents to support product and technology teams. - Supporting agile delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality solutions. - Conducting gap analysis, risk assessments, and impact studies to guide business decisions. - Working closely with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure regulatory and security standards are met. - Acting as a subject matter expert in Capital Markets, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior analysts where applicable. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management domains. - Strong understanding of digital journeys related to Investment Account Opening and Trading across various asset classes. - Experience in designing and documenting workflows, process improvements, and customer journeys. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Prior experience in banking technology solutions, especially with investment platforms. Preferred qualifications include: - Prior experience working at HSBC or a global investment bank. - Hands-on experience with digital platforms for trading and investment management. - Knowledge of compliance frameworks, KYC norms, and regulatory requirements. - Familiarity with data analytics, reporting, and customer engagement tools.
