Job Description

Job Title: Azure Migration Lead Location : [Remote/Onsite - specify] Experience : 5+ years in Azure cloud migrations Job Summary We re seeking an experienced Azure Migration Lead to drive on-premises to Azure cloud migrations. You will lead assessment, planning, and execution using tools like Azure Migrate , Terraform , and CI/CD pipelines . The role includes technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and hands-on infrastructure work. Key Responsibilities Lead Lift & Shift and clean deployment migrations using Azure Migrate . Conduct application intake, discovery, and dependency analysis . Design and implement migration runbooks , playbooks, and cutover plans. Provision Azure infrastructure via Terraform and Azure DevOps . Troubleshoot migration and infrastructure issues. Manage migration status, risks, and coordination with cross-functional teams. Work with Entra ID (Azure AD) , VMs, VNets, NSGs, firewalls, and monitoring tools. Required Skills Azure Migrate - setup, configuration, troubleshooting Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS & networking Experience with VMware, Windows Server migrations Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) CI/CD pipeline integration (Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab) Customer-facing experience & migration documentation Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) Nice to Have AWS migration exposure Azure certifications (Admin or Architect)
