Azure Engineer

As the Cloud Infrastructure Architect, your role involves architecting, managing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure enterprise environments. You will be responsible for Windows system architecture and engineering within cloud environments, including building, tuning, and maintaining server standards in an enterprise environment. Your key responsibilities include: - Maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans for cloud administration and appropriate use - Driving Infrastructure as Code through the Ansible and Terraform tooling on the enterprise automation platform - Interacting with Active Directory in relation to enterprise applications and systems - Identifying and troubleshooting server performance issues using server administration tools and utilities - Collaborating with architecture and engineering teams (Network, Storage) to implement, design, and perform implementation/configuration changes - Establishing and maintaining regular communications with executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, Service Desk, and end-users regarding infrastructure activities - Adhering to industry best practices for cloud technologies - Managing and maintaining Azure and Oracle tenants for licensing, compliance, portal management, and global administration - Overseeing the service delivery of our Cloud operations managed service provider(s) - Fulfilling any other duties as assigned Preferred Skills And Experience: - Thorough working knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 - Sound working knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies, including security features - Sound working knowledge of network infrastructure and operations, such as switching, routing, Ethernet, TCP/IP - Sound working knowledge of remote access technology.,
