As an Azure DevOps professional at TCS, your role will include the following responsibilities: - Support the continued administration, management, documentation, training, and enhancement of the managed SaaS solutions owned by the DevOps Platform team. - Develop specified application components, enhancements, or automation scripts as required. - Track and support the propagation of updates, new features, capabilities, usage, and licensing for one or multiple SaaS solutions. - Evaluate and compare competitive tools regularly to ensure maximum benefit from investments made by Allegion. - Advocate for the implementation and utilization of best practices throughout the enterprise. - Analyze existing business processes and software for potential design improvements. - Collaborate with Enterprise teams to implement automation and optimizations to minimize overhead costs and expand team capabilities. - Communicate technical tool capabilities to engineering teams and align them with business objectives through documentation, training, and awareness. - Advocate for and ensure the security and data privacy of all applications and data storage. - Assist in clarifying, identifying, and ensuring handoff requirements and project issues, escalating where necessary. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you should have the following qualifications: - Experience managing or supporting large Enterprise SaaS tools like SonarQube, Black Duck, Azure DevOps, or Github Enterprise. - Ability to create internal documentation relied upon by various end users. - Passion for technology with a willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies for practical business purposes. - Experience with a modern object-oriented language such as C# or Java, and/or a modern JavaScript framework like Angular or React is a plus. - Proficiency in quickly building proof-of-concept solutions for future scalability. - Demonstrated experience in modeling innovation behaviors and designing applications that integrate custom software, cloud architectures, and commercial off-the-shelf software. - Knowledge of software development methodologies, best practices, application lifecycle management, and development and automation tooling.
