Azure Devops Engineer

Job Description: 1. Architecting and provisioning applications using Microsoft Azure Cloud IaaS, PaaS and AWS services. 2. Developing comprehensive architecture diagrams, conceptual models, and technical specification documents to guide the deployment process effectively. 3. Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout all cloud operations. 4. Implementing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines to streamline the release process, coordinating production releases to minimize downtime. 5. Enforcing rigorous version control policies and leveraging CloudFormation and ARM templates for efficient infrastructure management. 6. Spearheading the troubleshooting and resolution of Azure & AWS cloud infrastructure issues, collaborating with dev teams to expedite solutions. 7. Managing Azure and AWS storage accounts and databases, optimizing resource utilization through regular cleanup and maintenance. 8. Crafting compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), providing detailed solutions, architecture diagrams, cost estimates, and recommendations. 9. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering roles. 3. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python). 4. Demonstrated expertise in working with Azure and AWS cloud platforms. 5. Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques including caching strategies, load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDNs). 6. Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments, including network security groups, encryption, and identity access management (IAM). 7. Extensive knowledge of web hosting environments, Nginx, SQL, and Linux. 8. Strong command of Git and version control practices. 9. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for tracking performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks in cloud environments. 10. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. 11. Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104) and AWS certifications would be advantageous.
