Key Responsibilities:

Drive application modernization using DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

Optimize architecture, infrastructure, automation, observability, and CI/CD workflows.

Manage performance, availability, change/incident handling, telemetry, and capacity.

Build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions.

Work with development teams to apply DevOps best practices to application design.

Monitor application and server performance metrics regularly.

Manage and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure including networking, apps, and databases.

Be available for production issues and weekend releases (on-call rotation).

Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Must-Have Skills:

Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud hands-on experience (3+ years)

Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS) 3+ years

CI/CD Pipeline tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions – 3+ years

Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell – 3+ years

Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Azure Bicep, CloudFormation – 2+ years

Monitoring: DataDog

Build Tools: Gradle, Maven

OS: Strong understanding of Linux

Messaging: Kafka or Azure Event Hubs

Certifications in Java / Azure / relevant technologies

For Lead Role (10+ years):

Mandatory: Experience with ArgoCD

Should have handled senior-level responsibilities (SPM+)

---

Nice to Have:

Kubernetes Certification

Experience in application development using Java and React

Familiarity with additional observability tools besides DataDog
