Job Description

Experience Required:

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage SQL Server databases ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Perform
backup, restore, and disaster recovery
strategies to maintain data integrity.
Implement and manage
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
for database security and compliance.
Manage and optimize
ETL workflows using SSIS
(SQL Server Integration Services).
Migrate databases to Azure using
Azure Database Migration Service (DMS)
and ensure seamless cloud integration.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries for efficiency.
Automate regular tasks such as indexing, statistics updates, and monitoring.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration with applications.

Key Skills Required

Strong expertise in
SQL Server administration
(installation, configuration, tuning, patching).
Hands-on experience with
Azure Database Migration Service (DMS)
and
Azure SQL Database
.
Proficiency in
SSIS
for ETL processes.
Deep understanding of
backup/recovery strategies
and
high availability solutions
(Always On, Replication, Mirroring).
Knowledge of
RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
and database security best practices.
Familiarity with
performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
.
Exposure to
Azure cloud database services
and administration.

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
(DP-300) or equivalent.
