Job Description

Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain
data pipelines
for ingestion, processing, and transformation using Azure technologies.
Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and build effective workflows.
Develop and manage
data storage solutions
including
Azure SQL Database
,
Azure Data Lake
, and
Azure Blob Storage
.
Build and maintain
ETL processes
using
Azure Data Factory
or equivalent tools.
Implement
data validation and cleansing
procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
Optimize data pipelines for
scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
.
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues to ensure
data consistency and availability
.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong experience with
Azure Data Factory
,
Azure SQL
,
Azure Data Lake
, and
Blob Storage
Proficiency in
ETL development
, data transformation, and workflow orchestration
Knowledge of
data validation

cleansing

quality assurance
techniques
Experience in
monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure)
