Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of Azure services, architecture best practices, and experience in managing enterprise-level cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient Azure cloud solutions.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Provide guidance on Azure service usage, cost optimization, and performance.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
  • Stay updated with Azure advancements and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 35 years in Azure cloud architecture.

Expertise In Azure Services Including

  • Azure Compute (VMs, App Services, Functions)
  • Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway)
  • Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
  • Azure Identity (Azure AD, RBAC, IAM)
  • Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and enterprise IT environments.
