About Job:
- Implement all assessments finding of existing Azure and On-Prem environment , including infrastructure, services, configurations, and deployments.
- Improve resource utilization, performance metrics, security posture, compliance adherence, and cost management strategies within Azure.
- hybrid connectivity (VPN, Fast Connect, Velocloud, firewall rules)
- Perform comprehensive analysis of legacy data with recommendations for retention, archival, and elimination of duplicates
- Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement across the Azure landscape.
- Develop detailed reports outlining assessment findings, observations, and prioritized recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and finance, to understand their requirements and constraints.
- Provide expert guidance and best practices for optimizing Azure environments based on industry standards and organizational needs.
- Potentially assist in the implementation of recommended changes and optimizations.
- Provide cost optimization recommendations.
- Update high-level design documentation.
- Submit gap analysis report against industry standards (CIS, NIST, ISO/IEC)
Responsibility:
Assessment Remediation:
Analyze Azure Well-Architected Review and other assessment reports.
Design and implement remediation strategies for security, performance, reliability, cost optimization, and operational excellence. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and execute remediation tasks. Architecture & Design:
Architect scalable, secure, and resilient Azure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Develop Azure reference architectures and functional design specifications. Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts including re-platforming and re-hosting. Implementation & Delivery:
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Ensure compliance with Azure governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Leadership & Collaboration:
Guide cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and business analysts. Provide technical mentorship and training to junior architects and engineers. Communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders and present architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in Azure architecture. Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure AD, Key Vault, App Services, Azure Monitor, NSGs, Load Balancers, etc. Experience with remediation of Azure assessment findings and Well-Architected Framework. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and automation tools. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR). Hands-on experience with cloud migration tools like ASR, AppZero, and Azure Migrate. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) ITIL, TOGAF, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks
