AYUSHMAN CARD EMPLOYEE

Ayushman Mitra (or Pradhan Mantri Arogya Mitra), must be a certified frontline health service professional deployed at empanelled hospitals to assist beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat scheme.    Core Responsibilities   ·        Beneficiary Identification & Verification: Operating the Beneficiary Identification System (BIS) to verify patient eligibility for the scheme using Aadhaar or other government ID cards, registering beneficiaries, and generating e-cards.   ·        Transaction and Claim Management: Coordinating with doctors to map appropriate treatment packages, submitting pre-authorization requests with necessary medical documents, and preparing and uploading final claim documents (bills, discharge summaries, etc.) to the relevant portals.   ·        Patient Assistance & Guidance: Guiding patients through the hospital formalities, explaining the benefits of the scheme, addressing queries, and ensuring a seamless, cashless experience.   ·        Coordination & Compliance: Acting as a liaison between the hospital and the State Health Agency (SHA), ensuring adherence to Ayushman Bharat guidelines, assisting during government audits, and submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports.   ·        Documentation: Maintaining accurate demographic records, uploading patient care documents (surgery notes, pre/post-operative notes), and managing all related paperwork.
