Role and responsibilities Formulation of products Maintaining R&D Documentation Assisting Head R&D in new product acquisition Direct involvement in the product development process Improvement of safety and efficacy of products, Generation of thesis for products through reverse pharmacology Literature search Establishment of safety profile of herbs and finished polyherbal cosmetics. Evaluation of probable claims/activities of herbs and finished polyherbal products though literature Coordination with third party manufacturer (R&D), Documentation of RM and finished products under respective regulations (US, EU, Canada, India). Evaluation of probable claims/activities of herbs/ ingredients and finished polyherbal products though literature Desirable experience 2 to 7 years experience in cosmetic/personal care products development, preferred in natural or herbal cosmetics. Desired skills Basic knowledge of cosmetics regulations. Knowledge of formulation development and optimization Understanding of trouble shooting of products Exposure to any scientific databases or academic search engines Ability to understand data, choose and prioritize data, and put scientific presentation together using scientific judgment. Good understanding on analytical methodologies Basic understanding of clinical studies Self-motivated, keen to learn, quick adaptability, able to work independently and under tight timelines.
