AWS SRE / DevOps Engineer - (OpenTofu Expert)

ROLE: AWS SRE / DevOps Engineer - (OpenTofu Expert)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage reusable, modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi (JavaScript), AWS CDK, and AWS Amplify.
• Architect and optimize AWS services across compute, networking, storage, database, and security for enterprise-scale workloads. Develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Implement event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge and Lambda. Build cloud-based runners for reporting, alarming, and automated mitigation in SRE environments. Integrate AI-driven notification and remediation systems for automated incident response. Apply security best practices across encryption, access control, network design, and secure CI/CD pipelines. Support disaster recovery and high availability strategies across multi-account AWS environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions. Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to best practices documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent work experience). Ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of relevant experience.

Strong proficiency with Terraform and/or OpenTofu (mandatory).

Hands-on experience with AWS Services,

including: Compute & Networking: EC2, Lambda, VPC, Route53, API Gateway, EKS, ECS Databases & Storage: DynamoDB, OpenSearch, MSK Security & Identity: IAM, Cognito, KMS

IoT: AWS IoT Core Event-driven: AWS EventBridge + Lambda

• Proven ability to design and secure AWS solutions for Tier 1 customers with compliance and governance requirements.
• Expertise with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitOps workflows for automated deployments. Experience developing automation workflows for deployment, monitoring, and remediation. Strong knowledge of encryption, access control, and secure networking in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, and resilient under pressure. Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
