Azure Expert Team Lead ( Cloud )

Position Summary

The Azure Expert Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team in delivering Azure IaaS solutions, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring seamless deployment and administration of Azure resources. The role requires strong Azure Administrator skills with hands-on experience in virtual machines, storage, networking, Azure Entra ID, and Windows Server deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management

• Manage and administer Azure IaaS services including

  Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers

  , and related components.
• Oversee

  deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers

  in Azure environments.
• Implement and manage

  Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)

  for identity, access, and security.
• Ensure efficient backup, monitoring, cost management, and optimization of Azure workloads.
  

Cloud Deployment & Administration

• Perform full lifecycle

  deployment of virtual machines

  , storage, and network resources.
• Configure and manage Azure networking (VPN, VNet peering, routing, firewalls).
  
• Maintain role-based access, identity lifecycle, and policy compliance through Azure Entra ID.
  
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Azure administrators/engineers.
  
• Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  
• Support project execution, stakeholder communication, and technical decision-making.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 - 10 years of experience in cloud/IT infrastructure with deep expertise as an

  Azure Administrator

  .
• Strong hands-on knowledge of

  Azure IaaS services, virtual machine deployment, storage, networking, and Windows Server environments

  .
• Good understanding of

  Azure Entra ID

  (IAM, RBAC, Conditional Access, Security).
• Proven team management experience.
  
• Certifications preferred:

  AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer )
