AWS Ops Lead

Role Overview: You are sought after as an experienced and highly motivated AWS Ops Lead with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices to join the team at Hitachi Digital Services. Your role will involve managing the AWS infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability, while also implementing and optimizing ITSM and ITIL processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources to ensure high availability, security, and performance. - Monitor AWS services and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. - Implement best practices for AWS security and compliance. - Implement and oversee ITSM processes to streamline service delivery and support. - Lead incident, problem, change, and release management activities. - Implement ITIL best practices for service strategy, design, transition, operation, and continual service improvement. - Lead a team of AWS Operations and ITSM/ITIL professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective AWS solutions and ITSM/ITIL processes. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on project statuses, issues, and resolutions. Qualification Required: - Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments. - Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL principles and their practical application. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. - ITIL Foundation certification or higher and AWS Certified or equivalent certification.
