Job Description

AWS DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using
Terraform
,
CloudFormation
, or similar IaC tools.
Build and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using
CloudWatch
,
Prometheus
, or similar tools.
Manage containerized workloads using
Docker
and
Kubernetes
(EKS).
Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows.
Perform cost optimization, performance tuning, and AWS resource management.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with
AWS core services
(EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in scripting languages (
Bash
,
Python
, or similar).
Experience with
Terraform
or
AWS CloudFormation
for IaC.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (
Jenkins
,
GitHub Actions
,
GitLab CI
,
AWS CodePipeline
).
Experience with
Docker
and orchestration platforms (
Kubernetes
,
EKS
).
Knowledge of version control systems like
Git
.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (
CloudWatch
,
ELK Stack
,
Grafana
,
Prometheus
).
Good understanding of networking and security best practices on AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with serverless computing (
AWS Lambda
,
API Gateway
).
Knowledge of configuration management tools (
Ansible
,
Chef
,
Puppet
).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
