AWS Cloud Oracle DBA Lead

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Proven working experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Familiarity with database design and documentation.
• Problem management - Perform root cause analysis on trended DB incidents, performance tuning.
• Automation Development - Develop automation that can trigger off a variety of industry standard monitoring tools to resolve common issues in the environment or maintain operating levels.
• Experience in Performance tuning & optimization of databases and queries for Oracle.
• Proficient in Oracle Database Patching, Upgrades & Migrations. Backup and restoration using Data Pump, RMAN, Hot & Cold backup and AWS managed backup for DB Storage management
• Proficient in Backup & recovery, Disaster Recovery Management. Excellent knowledge of Troubleshooting database issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both in verbal and written communication
• Ability to handle stressful problems and solve complex problems under pressure
• Excellent planning, problem solving skills.
• On-Call support on rotational basis. Day to day support for Oracle database administration Daily health check of DB DB high availability with Dataguard

• Added advantage:

  Cloud Experience and certification To have knowledge on Postgres/MySQL/MSSQL/MongoDB Cross platform migration On-Premise to public cloud and vice versa Oracle DB migration experience

• Cloud Responsibilities:

  Exposure on multiple cloud platforms like AWS, (added advantage) etc. Understanding Cloud concepts like RDS, EC2, CloudWatch, S3 Bucket etc. Manage and maintain backup strategies in AWS. Perform data migration from one account to another account in AWS. Monitor and analyze database activity, identify trends, and optimize query performance and resource utilization. Troubleshoot database related issues and provide technical guidance. Stay updated with the latest cloud database technologies, tools, and best practice.
