Job Summary :
- Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, design, and execution.
- Develop and document AWS architecture solutions tailored to business and technical requirements.
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and application portfolio analysis.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Terraform etc.).
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure successful migration and integration.
- Define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor) and oversee implementation.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and migration playbooks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with AWS innovations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Migration Strategy & Execution
- Develop and own the end-to-end migration strategy from on-premises to AWS, including wave planning, risk mitigation, and business continuity.
- Lead discovery and assessment of the existing on-prem landscape, including infrastructure, applications, databases, and interdependencies.
- Define migration approaches (rehost, replatform, refactor) based on workload characteristics and business priorities.
AWS Architecture & Design
- Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures for enterprise workloads.
- Implement AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), centralized networking (Transit Gateway, VPC sharing), and cross-account access models.
- Architect solutions for compute, storage, networking, and databases, including Oracle on AWS (RDS, EC2-hosted, or Aurora).
Migration Tools & Automation
- Utilize AWS-native and third-party tools such as AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, Server Migration Service (SMS), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Drive automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms are in place post-migration.
Governance, Security & Optimization
- Establish cloud governance frameworks for identity and access management, cost control, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture and large-scale migration projects.
- Proven track record of migrating complex enterprise environments to AWS.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, Transit Gateway, etc.
- Strong experience with Oracle databases and their migration to AWS.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Hands-on experience Terraform, Ansible.
- Tools & Frameworks:
- Familiarity with AWS Migration Hub, DMS, CloudEndure, SMS, and discovery tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines and DevOps Practices
