AVP / VP Data Management

As a Data Analyst at HSBC, you will be responsible for leveraging the India market data layer to automate regulatory reports and commercialize data for analytical gains. You will play a crucial role in owning the enterprise risk dashboard for the India CEO and collaborating with finance and operations teams to identify improvement opportunities in regulatory reporting and indent fulfillment. Your expertise will be utilized to support the India DAO Head in sharing data best practices with cluster markets and developing content and training materials for basic data foundational trainings. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage India market data layer to automate regulatory reports and commercialize the data for analytical gains - Own enterprise risk dashboard for India CEO - Collaborate with finance and operations teams to map improvement opportunities in regulatory reporting or indent fulfillment - Support the India DAO Head in sharing data best practices with cluster markets - Help develop content and training materials for basic data foundational trainings - Participate and moderate India data enablement forums - Cascade best practices to cluster countries - Participate in country initiatives on data monetization - Be an SME for ensuring the right tooling cascade is done across HSBC India data practitioners - Develop reports based on operational metrics and efficiency at the entity level Qualifications Required: - Knowledge and past experience in handling data, data sets, along with familiarity with data tools will be good to have - Past background in BI / Reporting / Visualization / business analytics - Exposure to programming languages like Python, R, or data tools like Alteryx as well as Qliksense will be needed - Critical thinking, problem-solving with an eye for detail - Business analytics, proven experience of hands-on working with Data - Ability to spot and execute improvement opportunities in the data domain - Program management, ability to influence key stakeholders - Drive collaboration in a matrixed organization HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected, and opinions count.
