AVP - Data/Information Mgt Sr Anlst

As a Lead in Control Automation Development at Citi, you will be responsible for leading a team of automation analysts and acting as the subject matter expert in automation. Your role will involve developing and implementing robust and scalable automation strategies and solutions to support business objectives and enhance controls effectively. You will conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities, providing strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights for business planning and resource allocation. Your analytical skills will be crucial in designing automation strategies, translating business requirements into technical design documents, and conducting data analysis and pattern recognition. Proficiency in tools and platforms such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Appian, Xceptor, Python, Mainframes, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA is required for this role. Having experience in workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bit Bucket would be beneficial. A good understanding of banking products, MCA, inherent risk, business risk, controls, compliance, and data management is essential. Knowledge of finance regulations and audit processes would also be advantageous. Soft skills such as proven leadership ability, excellent communication, mentoring skills, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are important. You should be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contribute to organizational initiatives, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for details. Being a strong team player is key in this role. Basic qualifications include a Master's degree in information technology, information systems, computer applications, or engineering from a premier institute, or a BTech/B.E/MCA in related fields. Additionally, a postgraduate degree in computers and 8-12 years of hands-on experience in developing codes on SAS, SQL, and Python environments are preferred qualifications for this position.,
