Job Description

The AVP, Consumer Engagement and Brand Analytics role at Synchrony involves delivering strategic marketing analytics for marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns in collaboration with the Consumer Engagement and Brand business teams within Growth. This position, based in the India Analytics Hub (IAH), requires partnering closely with the VP, Consumer Engagement and Brand Analytics in the US to plan, measure, and optimize marketing programs and campaigns related to Synchrony's Consumer Engagement and Brand marketing across different channels. Key Responsibilities - Providing data-driven insights to address business needs and prioritize investments in Consumer Engagement programs - Enhancing brand positioning through quantitative and qualitative learnings to create targeted audience segments - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate external data sources and enhance sales and revenue metrics - Delivering competitive insights and industry benchmarks for merchant partners using consumer and transactional data - Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor for complex problem-solving - Leading strategic initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy - Supporting ad-hoc strategic initiatives and projects as required Required Skills & Knowledge - Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any quantitative stream with 6+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience, or 8+ years of experience without a degree - Proficiency in SQL/SAS Tools and advanced algorithms like media mix and attribution models - Advanced skills in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint for data analyses and storyboarding - Ability to solve complex technical and business problems with minimal supervision Desired Skills & Knowledge - Strong thought leadership and solutioning abilities - Experience in storytelling and presenting to senior leaders with excellent communication skills - Innovative mindset to improve capabilities and explore new opportunities - Understanding of marketing concepts such as campaign measurement, targeting, and segmentation - People management experience and familiarity with digital measurement tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics Eligibility Criteria - Degree in relevant quantitative streams with hands-on analytics/data science experience - Flexible work timings between 06:00 AM - 11:30 AM Eastern Time with the option to work remotely - Internal applicants must meet specific criteria and discuss with the hiring manager before applying Grade/Level: 11 This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge analytics solutions and collaborate with diverse teams to drive business growth and enhance customer experience.,
