Description
As a Development Chapter Lead - Finance (Tax) Technology at Standard Chartered Bank, you will be responsible for covering all streams viz. Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Client tax information reporting. Your role will involve managing large-scale data warehouse and analytics projects, including data visualization capability using tools like MSTR. You will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of applications in Tax estate, data platforms, and other applications in Direct Tax, Client tax Information Reporting, and Indirect Tax. Your responsibilities will include acting as a Cyber warden to ensure timely closure of ICS remediations, application security, and vulnerability fixes. You will drive technical solutions to address all open issues and risks raised on Tax applications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end coordination for EDMP Tax platform across all 3 Tax streams - Client Tax, Direct, and Indirect Tax, along with downstream applications. - Manage the SRE team, run metrics, Service KPIs, SLA, OLA for all applications in the Tax tech estate. - Develop delivery and release plans with technical dependencies, aligning with partners and the team architect. Qualifications: - Graduation in engineering Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience in Hadoop, Hive/SQL, Python, Pyspark - In-depth knowledge EDMP platform and system landscape - Management of infra management across Linux, Windows, and Citrix environments Non-technical Skills: - Experience in project implementation and data migration - Proven ability to work within a team environment - Highly effective verbal and written English communication & presentation skills Skills and Experience: - Project Management - Delivery - Agile process - Data Platform - SDLC process About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank dedicated to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
