AVP, Chapter Lead Development - Tax

As a Development Chapter Lead - Finance (Tax) Technology at Standard Chartered, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering various programs within the Tax estate. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading end-to-end coordination for the EDMP Tax platform across all 3 Tax streams (Client Tax, Direct Tax, Indirect Tax) and with downstream applications. - Managing large-scale data warehouse and analytics projects, including data visualization using tools like MSTR. - Acting as a cyber warden to ensure compliance with risk management, ICS guidelines, and timely closure of vulnerabilities. - Managing the SRE team, running metrics, service KPIs, SLA, OLA for all applications in the Tax tech estate. - Collaborating with product owners and interfacing systems for prioritization discussions. - Driving engineering best practices in the squad and guiding the team towards technical solutions. - Facilitating regular inspections and adaptations using empirical data for continuous improvement. In addition, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Qualifications: - Graduation in engineering Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience in Hadoop, Hive/SQL, Python, Pyspark - In-depth knowledge of EDMP platform and system landscape - Management of infra management across Linux, Windows, and Citrix environments Non-technical Skills: - Experience in project implementation and data migration - Strong ability to work within a team environment and manage multiple tasks based on priorities - Excellent verbal and written English communication & presentation skills - Strong reasoning, analytical, and interpersonal skills - Good knowledge of Agile practices About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank that values diversity and inclusion.
