Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales managers to understand client requirements and match them with suitable ingredient solutions. Prepare and deliver technical product presentations, specifications, and application documents. Support sampling requests and coordinate with application labs or product development teams for trials. Analyze client formulation needs and suggest appropriate ingredient combinations (e.g., emulsifiers, stabilizers, hydrocolloids, flavors, proteins, etc.). Assist in preparing proposals, costings, and compliance documentation (e.g., FSSAI, HALAL, KOSHER, Clean Label, etc.). Work with R&D to address client queries related to shelf-life, sensory performance, or ingredient interactions. Track and maintain a database of clients, opportunities, and project status using CRM systems. Stay updated on food ingredient trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings. Attend client meetings, technical webinars, and trade shows alongside the sales team when required. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or related field (M.Sc. or MBA is a plus). 1–3 years of experience in pre-sales, technical support, or product management in the food ingredients or specialty chemicals industry. Strong understanding of food ingredient functionalities and formulation science. Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
