AV Technician

As an AV Technician at Power Bridge, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring audiovisual equipment such as displays, projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems. You will ensure proper cable management, integration of AV components, and conduct testing and calibration of AV systems for optimal performance. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to audio, video, or control systems will also be part of your role. Providing on-site support during events, meetings, and conferences to ensure the smooth operation of AV equipment, assisting users with setup and operation, and performing routine maintenance and inspections are key aspects of this position. You will be expected to maintain accurate documentation of AV system configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures, as well as create user guides and training materials for end-users. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with AV engineers, programmers, and project managers to contribute to the successful execution of projects. Effective communication with clients and end-users to understand their AV requirements is crucial for delivering exceptional AV experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical certifications being a plus. Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a related field, strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment, cabling, and signal flow, familiarity with AV control systems and basic programming concepts, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
