Basic/ Essential Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification Bachelors.
- Ensure uninterrupted, high-quality operation of AV systems, aligning with evolving business needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Work with a team of AV professionals, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Responsible to act as contact person between Barclays and vendor.
- Drive the deployment and integration of collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Room (MTR), and Cloud Video Interop (CVI) during breafix.
- Roll out and support digital signage systems and TV distribution platforms, including Brightsign, Tripleplay, Uniguest, Mediastar, and Onelan.
- Manage live events, townhalls, and VIP events by expertly handling audio mixers, camera controls, and multiple audio-video input matrices to deliver seamless experiences.
- Oversee videowall solutions and AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, NEC, Biamp, and Shure, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
- Use ServiceNow for incident management, change requests, hardware asset management, and quality of service tracking.
- Program and configure AV devices at a mid-level, ensuring systems are tailored to the organization's unique requirements.
- Monitor AV system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address challenges to sustain high service levels.
- Stay current with emerging AV technologies and best practices to continuously improve the organization's AV infrastructure.
Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include
- Hands-on knowledge of AV platforms including Microsoft Teams, Digital Signage, TV distribution, and control systems like Crestron and Extron.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including high-profile and VIP executives. This includes managing expectations, delivering clear updates, and ensuring a professional experience during critical meetings and events. Experience of using test automation tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Strong skills in diagnosing, resolving AV system issues, and using tools like ServiceNow for incident and asset management
