Job Description

Role & responsibilities

2-4 Years of good design experience
in Foam parts of seating systems
Strong Knowledge of Automotive Seating
System and Injection molding process
Design of locators, fixation, and attachment schemes.
Tooling feasibility with Draft Analysis, thickness analysis etc.
Hands on experience on surfacing/solid modeling/Drawing creation
in CAD / CATIA software.
Understanding of the design tools like DFMEA, and DFMA.
Knowledge of
GD&T application on plastic parts & tolerance stack-up analysis
Be responsible for the CAD design and development of
Foam/plastic components in CATIA V5
Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time.
Participation in Design reviews with customer & internal team.
Responsible for following up all the standard work procedures, methodologies etc. during the works
PLM Teamcenter Handling for Release Processes.
Experience
in Foam design is a must.
