Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosis data content development for Mercedes-Benz Aftersales Diagnostic tester
• Support & resolve Mercedes-Benz Workshops with issues arising during diagnostic tasks/routines
• Validation of diagnosis content of the various electronic systems
• Working in a global team to deliver diagnostic content in time with defined quality
• Effective communication and co-ordination with Various Stake Holders.

Required Skills & Experience: 6+ Years

• Independent working experience with electronically controlled vehicle systems
• Good Understating of Gasoline, Diesel engine and automatic transmission & its subsystems
• Good understanding of diagnostic tester and diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of control unit Software, Actuations, Actual values, DTCs and Routines.
• Ability to understand the wiring diagram, system diagram of automotive system.
• Ability to write the repair procedures for powertrain system components
• Customer oriented thinking and previous workshop experience is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills for analyzing the field issues related to vehicle & diagnostic tester content
• Good written and communication skills.
• German language proficiency is an added advantage
• Basic Knowledge of CAN and UDS protocol is an added advantage
• Hands-on experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of automotive electronic vehicle systems (Specifically Powertrain , Transmission systems)
• Experience on Aftersales diagnostic content development for offboard diagnosis
• Experience in diagnostic authoring tool (GradeX) is an added advantage

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics or equivalent
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive the team.
• Working experience with automotive OEMs or suppliers.
