Description
Job Title: Senior QA Responsibilities: Analyze product test requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases. Develop and implement test automation frameworks for UI and API testing. Perform functional and regression testing, and support UAT, Pre-Go Live, and Go-Live testing. Provide expert guidance in performance, stress, usability testing, and test automation. Review and provide feedback on test cases created by team members. Conduct testing across multiple software products on various OS platforms. Mentor and supervise test analysts and senior test analysts in testing activities. Coordinate with offshore teams (India) and collaborate with Development, Business, and Managerial teams during application development phases. Requirements: BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and software testing. Strong knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning, automation (API and UI), and defect management. Proficiency in SQL scripting and experience with CI tools such as Jenkins. Experience in Agile/Scrum/XP environments. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a sprint team. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience rolling out test automation initiatives. Familiarity with BDD, TDD, and Gherkin specifications. Understanding of web services (e.g., REST), JSON, and XML data formats. Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process. Expertise in defect tracking tools such as JIRA and scripting languages like JavaScript and Groovy. Technical Skills: Defect Tracking Tools: JIRA, JavaScript, Groovy. Automated Testing Tools: JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Mercury QTP 8.2, TestNG, FlexUnit, LoadRunner, SoapUI,XML testing Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE. Database Tools: Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Developer. Other Tools: Jenkins, GIT, Putty, WinSCP.
