Job Description

Automation Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Execute regression, smoke, and functional tests on web and mobile applications.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4–6 years of experience in automation testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Strong proficiency in any one or more of the following tools/frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
Good programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
