Automation Tester - Playwright & TypeScript OR Cypress & JavaScript

As a Quality Engineering professional with 6-9 years of experience, your role will involve translating business and systems requirements into test strategy, test scenarios, and test plans. You will design, develop, document, and maintain optimized automated test scripts. Additionally, you will provide rotational QE on-call support in Prod and Preprod infrastructure, adhere to Engineering Practices in the development of automation framework, and apply BDD design concepts to test software solutions. Moreover, you will deliver accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities and measure/report key QE metrics. Accessibility Testing on web browser pages and contribution towards Quality Engineering chapter initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with technical resources to suggest process improvements, best practices, and standards, as well as identify opportunities to enhance the maintainability of the automation platform. Qualifications Required: - 5-6 years of experience predominantly in software test/Quality Engineering. - Deep expertise in different types of testing. - Hands-on Software Development in Test experience with programming languages like JavaScript/Typescript/Java. - Automation scripting experience (not record and playback). - Good understanding of BDD, CI-CD, and DevOps concepts is mandatory. - Expertise in Playwright Automation Tool, Web Browser Testing, Mobile Device Validation, Validation of RESTful web services, and Jenkins (CI/CD Pipelines). - Strong plus: Experience in GraphQL, Client-Server Architecture, Cloud certification in AWS/Azure, and Service Virtualization (Wire-Mock). - Understanding and working experience of Non-functional testing is an added plus, including Accessibility Testing using NVDA, JAWS, Chaos Testing (Chaos Mesh, Chaos Buffet, Gremlin), and Performance Testing (e.g., Rush Hour).,
