Automation Tester - Playwright & TypeScript OR Cypress & JavaScript

As a Quality Engineer with 6-9 years of experience, your primary expertise lies in TypeScript & Playwright Automation or Cypress & JavaScript along with proficiency in Jenkins, CI-CD, and JIRA. Your role involves translating business and systems requirements into test strategies, scenarios, and plans. You will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining optimized automated test scripts. Additionally, you will provide rotational QE on-call support in Prod and Preprod infrastructure while adhering to Engineering Practices in developing automation frameworks. It is essential to understand and apply BDD design concepts to test software solutions, deliver accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities, and measure/report key QE metrics. Conducting accessibility testing on web browser pages and contributing towards Quality Engineering chapter initiatives are also part of your responsibilities. Key skills required for this role include applying analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance/testing skills to enhance and validate software solutions. Effective communication with stakeholders, guiding the team to build an end-to-end test strategy, and bringing in cloud testing expertise are crucial. You are expected to spearhead the automation coverage for a given system, quickly learn and adapt to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple efforts simultaneously. Technical skills needed for this role include deep expertise in different types of testing, hands-on Software Development in Test experience, and a good understanding of BDD, CI-CD, and DevOps concepts. Expertise in Playwright Automation Tool, Web Browser Testing, Mobile Device Validation, RESTful web services validation, and Jenkins (CI/CD Pipelines) is required. Experience in Graph QL, Client-Server Architecture, Cloud certification in AWS/Azure, and Service Virtualization (Wire-Mock) is a strong plus. Understanding and working experience of Non-functional testing, Accessibility Testing using NVDA, JAWS, Chaos Testing, and Performance Testing will be beneficial for this role.,
