Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement end-to-end automated test frameworks (functional, regression, performance) using Java or Python or C#.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for web applications.
Experience with Mobile websites and Native Mobile applications (iOS, Android) using Appium.
Experience with Oracle based applications or SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) product or Cisco product.
Expertise in testing RESTful interfaces using tools like REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or custom HTTP clients.
design patterns (Page Object, Factory, Singleton, others) to ensure modular, maintainable, and extensible frameworks.
Experience with TDD, BDD, Pytest, Robot framework, Testng (Nice to have one or more).
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and execute them in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner to design, execute, and analyse performance/load tests.
Embed automated tests into deployment pipelines and ensure seamless execution on every build.
Containerize test environments with Docker and orchestrate test execution on Kubernetes clusters.
Build and manage Jenkins (or equivalent) automation jobs, configuring pipelines to trigger tests on commits, merges, or nightly schedules.
Provision test environments in a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
Participate in code reviews for test code, infrastructure-as-code, and product code to enforce coding standards and minimize technical debt.
Mentor and upskill junior automation engineers, document best practices, and maintain a repository of reusable components.
Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and tools (e.g., GPT-based test generation, MCP).

Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7 9 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including at least 5 years leading automation initiatives.
