Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Test Lead with a strong background in Test Automation using Selenium and Java.
The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination and delivery of automation testing projects, ensuring high-quality software releases.
You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, and stakeholders to drive test strategy, track progress, and ensure on-time project execution. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities related to automation testing projects.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to define automation scope, priorities, and schedules.
- Experience in handling team of 10+ members
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Monitor and report on test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution results.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts for automated testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
- Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of project risks and bottlenecks.
- Assist in resource planning, effort estimation, and task allocation within the QA automation team. Qualifications
  - Proven experience as a Test Automation expert.
  - Strong expertise in selenium.
  - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
  - Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
  - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  - Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Essential skills
    - Experience managing or coordinating QA teams in Agile or Scrum environments.
    - Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools.
    - Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Experience
      10+ years in leading automation teams
