Automation Test Engineers

As an Automation Test Engineer with 6 to 11 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated test systems using tools such as UFT, QTP, Rational Robot, and Selenium. A minimum of 5 years of your overall testing experience should be dedicated to automation testing. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing automation frameworks, creating automated test scripts, and enhancing test systems beyond simple record and playback functionalities. You should have a strong command of automation testing tools and possess scripting skills in languages like VB, Java, Perl, and C. In addition to your technical skills, you are expected to have a good understanding of white box, grey box, and black box testing techniques. Experience with SQL for writing queries and procedures, familiarity with different operating systems, and knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts are essential for this role. A background in the Finance/Banking industry and exposure to Agile development methodologies will be advantageous. You should also be adept at manual functional testing, test case creation from functional specifications, and performance/load testing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial as you will be collaborating with various teams in a fast-paced environment. The ability to deliver high-quality results independently and adapt to dynamic business requirements is essential.
