About the Role

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like
Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
or similar.
Develop test frameworks and enhance existing automation suites.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts to identify test requirements.
Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
Ensure software quality by identifying issues early in the development lifecycle.
Work on
CI/CD pipelines
to integrate automated tests.
Document test strategies, plans, and results.
Perform regression, smoke, functional, and integration testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (X+ years) in automation testing.
Strong knowledge of
Java/Python/JavaScript
(depending on your company stack).
Experience with
Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright
or other automation tools.
Hands-on experience with test frameworks like
TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD)
.
Familiarity with
REST API testing
using tools like
Postman, RestAssured
.
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.)
.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
