Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at Tetra Pak, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Next Chapter Systems Platform (NCSP) journey through automation testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Design, implement, and execute automated test suites for Unit, functional, Integration, regression, and performance testing. - Collaborate with FPoC (Functional Point of contact) to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test automation opportunities. - Analyze test results and report defects, providing detailed information to facilitate timely resolution. - Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Ensure to meet and deliver as per Project Phase and Timelines. - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3-6 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role. - Proficiency in Tosca Model-based Test Automation. - Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs). - Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Selenium WebDriver Developer).
