Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Testing Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance processes and contribute to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Execute functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software performance and reliability.

Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.

Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate backend functionality.

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Stay updated with the latest trends in QA automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Contribute to improving QA processes and automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills:

2-5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing.

Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.

Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Xray) and bug-tracking systems. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber BDD. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good-to-Have

Skills:

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with mobile app testing (iOS/Android) using tools like Appium.

ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.

Exposure to microservices testing or middleware technologies like Kafka.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/BTech, MCA, BCA, MSc, BSc).

2-5 years of relevant experience in QA automation testing.
