Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer at Dark Matter Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Manual or Automated test scripts for Business Intelligence applications, utilities, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required for executing test plans. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and upgrading Manual or Automated test scripts - Writing Postman and Playwright automated tests - Conducting usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security - Effectively communicating testing activities and findings both orally and in written form - Ensuring database solutions are accurate and developed according to business requirements - Controlling and managing your daily test activities - Providing internal quality assurance - Offering technical guidance throughout the development process - Supporting the test lead in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies - Organizing and maintaining the test script library - Performing other related duties as assigned Additionally, your role will require you to possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Knowledge of software testing methods, tools, and technology - Understanding of quality management methods and tools for creating defect-free application software - Familiarity with application development methodologies and database engines - Proficiency in automation tools, techniques, and principles such as C#, Selenium, Playwright, API/Postman, etc. - Working knowledge of Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps - Ability to focus on clients" needs and make solid decisions - Experience working in an agile development environment - Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills - Effective verbal and written communication abilities - Capacity to work under pressure and deliver results - Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships Dark Matter Technologies, an innovative company at the forefront of the tech-driven revolution in loan origination, is owned by Constellation Software Inc.
