Automation Test Engineer and Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement test automation strategies for web, mobile, and API testing.
  
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Groovy, or JavaScript.
  
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure product quality.
  
• Lead and mentor small QA teams (25 members).
  
• Contribute to estimation, test planning, and test environment setup.
  
• Drive defect management processes and enforce best practices.
  
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Git.
  
• Perform API testing using tools such as RestAssured, Postman, SOAP UI.
  
• Conduct regression testing, test coverage analysis, and device coverage planning.
  
• Explore and implement new automation tools and techniques.
  
• Participate in client meetings and manage stakeholder communications.
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 49 years of experience in Automation Testing / Quality Engineering.
  
• Strong programming skills in

  Java, Groovy, or JavaScript

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  GUI automation tools

  (desktop/web/mobile).
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  and working with

  JSON, XML

  , schema validation.
• Solid understanding of

  OOPS

  ,

  BDD/TDD methodologies

  (Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with

  test automation frameworks

  using design patterns (POM, Factory, Singleton).
• Familiarity with

  SQL

  CI/CD tools

  version control (Git)

• Exposure to

  tools.
• Knowledge of

  microservices architecture
