Automation Test Analyst

You have 10 years of total experience with a minimum of 6 years in automation testing. We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional in Quality Engineering (Automation) to lead our team in India. As a senior engineer, your role will involve overseeing the Quality Engineering (Automation) function, particularly focusing on maintaining the quality of our web-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Your responsibilities will include driving automation efforts, enhancing testing processes, and upholding a strong emphasis on automated testing. If you possess a solid background in automated testing and are proficient in Selenium, we are interested in hearing from you. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the Quality Engineering (Automation) team by providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to ensure the team's success. - Defining and executing the automation strategy and roadmap with a primary emphasis on Selenium, while also ensuring efficient manual testing practices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, define test requirements, and prioritize test cases for automation. - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts, test suites, and test frameworks to ensure thorough and effective test coverage. - Establishing and upholding best practices for test automation, including code standards, version control, continuous integration, and maximizing test coverage. - Creating test plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum development processes. - Monitoring and reporting on automation progress, test coverage, and results to stakeholders, making data-driven decisions to enhance quality. You should have expertise in Selenium for test automation, proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with test management tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication and leadership abilities. Additionally, you must stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in test automation and collaborate with software development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Requirements for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) with a strong focus on automated testing. - Proven proficiency in designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and related technologies. - Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#. - Demonstrated track record of leading and mentoring automation QA teams in a fast-paced environment.
