Automation Specialist

As an Electrical Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing electrical schematics, developing control system architecture, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing electrical schematics using E-Plan software - Participating in kick-off meetings with customers to understand requirements - Developing control system architecture, including PLC and drive selection - Collaborating with vendors to integrate new technologies into designs - Standardizing drawings by creating macros and maintaining records on the server - Preparing control panel layouts and wiring diagrams, ensuring customer approval - Working closely with engineering and execution teams to meet design specifications and standards - Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations - Identifying and resolving electrical design issues as they arise - Maintaining accurate project documentation and updating records as needed - Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for design efficiency and accuracy - Preparing IO lists, load calculations, sensor lists, cable lists, and bills of materials - Overseeing procurement releases and assisting with cost estimation for new projects - Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely execution - Collaborating with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients for seamless coordination - Generating technical reports, including cable diagrams, terminal diagrams, parts lists, and enclosure legends using E-Plan - Defining and managing signal exchanges with customers" PLC systems Qualifications required for this role include: - B. Tech in Electrical and Electronic or Electronic Communication/Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering, Diploma in Mechatronics - Good academic records, with 60% & above across all academics - 4 to 6 years of experience in Electrical design, with hands-on experience in EPLAN - Project Experience: Must have completed minimum 2-3 projects on Material Handling lines - Experience across Steel industry, Food & beverages, Glass industry, System house would be an added advantage - Proficiency in E-Plan P8 2.9, 2025 software If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging role in electrical design and automation, we welcome you to apply for this position at our company.,
