Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web applications.

Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, contribute to test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across various environments.

Ensure adherence to the test pyramid and best practices in test automation and software quality.

Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and track them through resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.

Act as a quality advocate and collaborate with multiple teams to drive improvements in processes, tools, and standards.

Manage priorities and tasks efficiently in a demanding and fast-changing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation roles.

Strong proficiency with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript test scripting.

Solid understanding of different types of testing (unit, integration, system, UAT, regression, exploratory).

In-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and the testing pyramid.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).

Familiarity with other testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).

Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.

Background in a DevOps or Continuous Testing environment.
