Automation Lead

You will be responsible for defining and owning the end-to-end automation strategy for web and API products. This includes designing the architecture, framework, test coverage, and maintenance. You will lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing automation team by participating in hiring, code reviews, and providing technical mentorship. Building and maintaining robust, reusable test automation frameworks and libraries using Selenium and API automation tools will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, design automated gating, parallel test execution, and containerized test environments to speed up feedback loops. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to define testing strategy, shift-left practices, and measurable quality metrics will be crucial. You will drive continuous improvement by troubleshooting automation failures, optimizing test suites for reliability and performance, and promoting best practices in observability and test reliability. - Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web testing. - Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with proficiency in Python. - Experience in integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker). - Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers, define QA strategy, and deliver automation at scale in Agile environments.
