Job Description

Job Description: As a Data Validation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to validate data from various sources, apply transformation logic, and upload the data into target tables. You will be in charge of ensuring the accuracy and quality of data before it is utilized in live systems. Additionally, you will create multiple tests for data validation and write test data scripts based on ETL mapping artifacts. Your role will also involve designing and executing test cases for applications using ETL components. Key Responsibilities: - Validate data from different sources and apply transformation logic - Upload data into target tables - Create multiple tests for data validation - Write test data scripts based on ETL mapping artifacts - Design and execute test cases for applications using ETL components - Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect count, test results, and test status - Create SQL scripts based on ETL mapping - Design and develop UNIX commands as part of the ETL process - Perform data warehouse testing - Undertake test data creation, test case creation, and test execution - Own end-to-end test environment - Utilize Jira for project management - Handle Unix data using commands like awk, sed, air, and m - Create and execute SQL analytical queries Qualifications Required: - Good soft skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team - Positive attitude - Ownership towards timely delivery - Good communication skills - Strong analytical skills,
